I have a rust free roof from a 78... essentually its the same roof, it just has mounts for sholder belts. I'll be removing those mounts and adding some pieces that I had frank remove from the old top. I called a friend of mine to see if he had a t-top roof, but he just sold his last one.
I've got just about all the prelim work done.... I'll be shortening the A-pillers tonight an hopfull be able to put the roof on Saturday.

Well.... Things did not go so well tonight... The roof is now sitting on the car but does not line up worth a crap.... I have to cut out the supports (or atleast get frank to do it tomarrow) and find a port-a-power to push both rear quarters out alittle...... Tomarrows going to be the day that determins if the car can be saved.......

Yo ryan...post some picts man! We got the roof in today all set up and ready to go. I got to take all my anger out on the world today with a sawzall, cut off grinder, vise grips, hammer, and a floor board. HAHAH!! Holla!

I would post pics but the batteries in the digi are dead.... sombody left the camera on yesterday....  Roof is set both "A" pillers are welded and fit.... Driverside piller needs alittle finessing. It has damage from the car it came from. I got both "B" pillers tached in.... Let frank cut out some of the rusty floorboard on the driverside.... Frank....you the man you attacked that 18 gauge metal with a sawsall, grinder, drill, hammer & a prybar..... But, I think the floorboard won..... ;D J/k.... man, thanks for the help yesterday |
