Finished striping the rest of the bondo yesterday evening....and ....well.... the quarter took one hell of a smack at some point in its life. I've got to do some exploratory cutting to see how the metal is behind the panel. Hopfully I will only have to put on a skin instead of replacing the whole quarter. I'll be stripping the passenger door tonight..... So keep you fingers crossed that ther is not an excess of bondo there.....

Update: 10/8/07 The quarter was in horrible shape, along wiht the trunk extension panel, and outer wheel house... the car took a real good smack at some time in its life. The fix was a 2.5lb sledge and a slide hammer  ..... The passenger door will need to be reskinned also.... there is two very large dents in it that probably happened at the same time as the rear quarter. Pics to follow this evening.... |

Not yet.... need to turn the car around in the garage.... I'm waiting on a few parts to finish assembling the front suspension so I can roll it around..... (cough, cough.... upper cups.... cough, cough)....

hahaha...He had it all in a box almost ready to ship when I went over there Friday.... He'll probably ship today/tomorrow if he sees this, lol.

Got good news and bad news...... tried to level the body last night and ..... well.... the body is warped.... It's about 1.75" out right to left and .75" out up at the rear framrails ( probably because of the wreck). The subframe x-member under the drivers floor is also buckled. I'm hoping that I will be able to pull it back out with the roof off......
Good news.... I'm picking up a BB402 for it
