Well after a very long and drawn out process I think I'll finally be getting all my buckets back and fixed next week. I finally asked Mike if he could remove the 2 leds that were causing the problems in each bucket and adjust the led strip so it looks right. He can. He's also going to replace the current 1-row clears I'm using as reverse lights with the new double row boards he's just starting to sell. Hopefully this will be the end of the issues.
Doug, Has he mentioned anything about these issues to you? I'm just curious. He keeps saying that he'll make sure that anyone that uses the led's that have an extra 2 in the bucket are only going to be used as 3rd brake lights. I just want to make sure that you're aware of this problem if you're selling his products.

A few pics of the latest updates. Engine went from this To this in about an hour or two The manifold leak was to the right of the oil pressure fitting After getting the engine back together I decided to modify one of my breathers to accept a PCV valve to relieve some of the pressure and help with the leaking. I started with a standard breather Took a cutoff wheel, drill, and moto-tool to it And made this I made the fitting on an angle so the hose could clear the throttle cable and the milled lines stay square to the valve cover lines. And here it is all back together. Not any big deal but at least it should run better and be a lot more dependable... and people driving behind me will stay clean too. :-D

I also finished wiring in relays for the headlights tonight and installed some e-code headlights with 85/100 watt Hella H4 bulbs. DAMN these things are BRIGHT! Awsome upgrade for the 1st gen's which have always had crappy lighting options. So much better than stock. Better than the cheap Chinese headlights off Ebay too. I can't wait to get it out on the road and take some pics. Should be another week or two.

Nice breather mod, and all the shiny stuff looks sweet.
I had those Hella lenses on my Blazer also, when I had it, and they're on the Mazda now even though I haven't driven it yet.

How'd you like the lenses? I haven't had a chance to take it out with them installed yet. I can tell they're a lot brighter now but that's in part to the 80/100 watt Hella bulbs. I'll be interested to see how they light up the road compared to the stock ones.

They work good, but I was using mine with some PIAA 9600K bulbs, so they were kinda on the purple side. It probably could've been alot brighter with a whiter bulb.

Ya, even the Hella bulbs have a slight blue tint on the glass. They shine real close to white though.
