How is everyone? Just wanted you to know that everything over here in Mn is great! We pulled out the S-10 and started working on it again after a short 3 year break. It was well needed, but now it's time to bust in hard, and that we did! We ripped the motor and tranny out last night, anyone want to see pics?

Well, I'm sorry I would have posted pics yesterday but my garage laptop was the only computer working. I'll get around to it today. I will warn you, it was in storage for about 3 years and got a little beat up. I'm going to try and give it a bath today and then take some pics.
Doug- thanks for the delayed message, you were only a day late! lol. 383 should be in by next weekend.
Goal - to have it driveable by Halloween.

well, you see..... I couldn't get the xmember out, because I drug the bolts half off. That was the whole perdicament.
yeah the motor is an LT1 I guess out of a 60 f body, I guess. That's what the numbers read. Great find from the news paper.
Tranny - 350 I was thinking 700r4, but decided against. I'm just going to use highway gears and not deal with the hassle. Plus, I have about 10 of them laying around at the shop.
Doug - Will I be able to use the same x member? or will I have to build one?

Doug, is it true with the 700 you don't have to change your driveshaft, but you do with the 350?
