So let me get you alls thoughts...
the truck is a 1946 Chevy 2-ton truck.
I plan on sitting it on a S-10 front clip, with an underslung and overslung rear frame setup.
I plan on keeping the front fenders, possibly keep the short running boards, with a fenderless short bed.
Powerplant is a 5.7liter 350 vortec, 4L60E with fuel injection. I'm going to order a cam here shortly ;D
I plan on chopping the top 4-6 inches depending on how the cab sits once I get it on the frame.
I am also considering a right hand drive conversion.

Whatcha guys think, should I make my soon-to-be daily into a right hand drive?
And what the hell is going on, I can't post pictures on this board?

Why not start with a 3/4 or 1 ton Reg cab long bed chevy truck frame and build a flatbed tow rig?

Why not start with a 3/4 or 1 ton Reg cab long bed chevy truck frame and build a flatbed tow rig? that is a cool idea, but I really don't want a tow pig for a daily. If I was going to make a tow pig, I'd run with the frame under it now, I figure a 1.5/2 ton chassis could do the job well
