hey peoples i need help my 1989 silver 1500 ck was stolen and i got it back with a destroyed tumbler and i need to replace it anybody know of a how to to do this? thank andy

It shouldn't be too hard Andy. You gotta take your door panel off, and then reach in the door, disconnect the linkage for the door lock from the tumbler, and remove the retaining clip that's holding it in the door. Then put the new one in and hook it all back up.

ah the ignition tumbler? I've never had to replace that one...
