Well as you know my sub box that was made of fiberglassed craked and started to look like shit. It had a design flaw with the active x over as well. So...im getting something new. The big thing about this box is I have complete range of motion for my seat which for beign 6'2 215 pounds in a small s10, its a must to keep! ANyhow let me know what you think. I will be trading my 2 huge 12's for 1 small 10 and an earthquake amplifier. Im not looking for ghetto killer bass anymore. Just something with some good pounding bass.

Looks like a good idea, but if you do it use something better than that ghetto Audiobahn...

Yeah for someone that likes to go on pimp my ride! Ok here is the paint desing of the inside kinda of a difrent idea. I will be running one 12 that I got inverted to allow more room. I think 1.25 cf of airspace per sub is good. But its going to be cool...inside both my amps will be mounted. The cap im going to get here in the future will be inside as well. There will be a sheet of plexiglass on top. ABove it will be an arch looking area which will meet up in the center and say SIC. I know...what more in and on your truck can say SIC?Lol...anyhow here is a rough sketch. My biggest challenge is to build this allowing complete rango of motion for my seat. I will let you know how it goes.

I'm kinda confused with that rendering, Frank. Is it the same as the pic you posted above? So the green part is the enclosure for the speaker, the speaker is mounted isobarically, the amps on top of the airspace, and then the sheet of plexi and the arch are 'hovering' above all that?

Close peter....The green is the airspace the sub will be using. The sub will be mounted magnet up. The top blue is the sheet of plexiglass. The line above that will be the arch made in fiberglass that will meet up in the center. I have a picture of it somewhere on this forum. Ohh and the amps will be mounted on the top of the box as well.
