This weekend I will be taking all the air management out of my truck and linexing the bed black. In the future I will also be getting 2 stainless steel or chrome tanks as well. I need some feedback so hear me out....do you think on the linex I should go over the bed rails or will it look funny? I think with the shaved look and linex going over the rails its going to get rid of the smooth look but wanted to see if people have seen any rides like this before and had any opinions. Also...do the stainless steel tanks hold up well on looks with it exposed to the outside weather? I really love the bling look and I think some nice looking tanks inside the bed will kick it up a notch on my presentation for the air management.

I wouldnt go over the rails. I think thats more of just a practical thing for hicks who haul cords of wood around.

I wouldn't go over the rails unless a bed cover was going to cover it up... just my 2 cents...

The 12 gallon tank that I have now is starting to like bubble and flake off. Its really weird and looks kinda bad. I was just wondering cause I dont think I have seen one before. Why is it these coated tanks do that? I thought they were powdercoated black?

The shine is just as shiny as chrome, sometimes hard to tell the difference between chrome and SS.
I'm trying to figure out part #'s right now to try and order stainless SMC valves. ;D

Thats what I thought about the shine I just wanted to make sure. Do they make a 8 port 8-10 gallon tank or they all 5 gallon 4 port? Im guessing im going to have to move the valves now off the tank. Any ideas on how to keep the valves on the tank and have 10 gallons of air? I need some ideas on how to set my shit up..hook me up!!

I don't think I've seen an 8-10 gal SS tank...I have a 9 port 5.5 or 6 gal, but I don't know if it's chrome or SS. It's probably chrome. And as for the SS SMC's I'll let ya know once I found out a little bit more. Need to talk to Doug and maybe a couple other ppl.

if you're gonna go all bling, the nickel plated ASCO's are pretty nice...decent, reliable valve. I know you can get those And havent seen anything bigger than a 5 gal SS tank so far...

This weekend I will be taking all the air management out of my truck and linexing the bed black. It's about damn time......Well for the most part it went ok. I got some issues...ehh I always have issues. It seems some of the areas we sprayed on heavy did not come out with alot of texture on it. It came out really glossy and smooth in some areas.. But other than that it went well. I will have to redo and touch up some areas that got missed. But other than that I looks ok.... I still need to do some more work on it though.
