I've got a TPI setup for sale. The intake manifold was modified to bolt on to earlier style (pre-87) heads. It's an '89 TPI unit with an '92 computer and complete harness. I've got gaskets for it, along with a set of stainles allen head bolts. All it need is a MAP sensor and probably some new injectors as it's been sitting for a while...just to be safe. I picked this up for a customer ride and he changed his mind and went with an LT-1 $400 obo I've also got a mid '70's 4-bolt block, about 45k on the rebuild. .040 over, everything else is pretty much stock, 1.94/1.50 heads, needs valve guide seals (again, been sitting for a while). I'll also throw in a th-350 with it, I just need to clear some space here..lol. $500 obo hit me up at sales@streetissuecustoms.com or (360) 286-6442. If I dont answer, leave a message. I'll ship the TPI, and the motor/tranny will do local pickup or reasonable delivery...no shipping on the motor/tranny...

Doug, if i had the mounts for it, how long do you think it would take to install the motor? i could use the radiator i have now on it right? at least till i can pick up a differen't radiator. i got a bad valve in my motor and well yea, mechanic wants 1200 to fix it, yea i could do it, but i need it done quick and if i am gonna spend that type of money, almost worth it to just get a new motor or a rebuilt one. how much do you think it would cost to get my heads checked out and retested if i did take them off?

Bret, provided that you had everything ready to go (mounts, exhaust, carb, distributor, misc. accessories) You could have the engine in and running in a weekend. The stock 4.3 rad will work fine with the right fan setup, either a stock clutch fan or a high CFM electric. You'll bolt up to your stock tranny, and if you go carb'd, you're looking at needing like 4 wires out of the stock engine harness...

haha...right on. That's probably your best bet. $400 for head work is pretty good. The motor doesnt look like it's going anywhere..lol...

There have only been a couple people wanting it and they've both been pretty flaky so I don't think it's going anywhere, Bret.
