I've never had problems with push locks plus I get them free at my work

I've only used compressions, but they work very well if you use good DOT ones.
I don't think it's going to matter either way, PTC or compression, if you get good DOT fittings, and cut/install the lines properly. I'm pretty sure most semi truck air systems use Parker, or similar, DOT PTC's.

I've had good luck with both..I've got some bad ass PTC's on my malibu...absolutely love them, but they tend to be a little more pricey than the compression...just kinda depends on what you want to do..

well i dont have a line cutter and may not be able to cutt the straigtest line so most of my fittings leak the drivers side i put the new RE-8 in and it will stay up probly 12 hours and the pass. side still has the firestone and goes down in probly 8 hours or so.

Are you using compression fittings, Andy? They seal at the ferules instead of the ends of the line.
