I saw it and didnt post. I feel terrible. I kind of expected you guys to body drop it since you already tore into it that much. Of course I was expecting a stock floor.

Sorry, I missed the little blue marker..... LOL
So how far does the LT1 stick out of the hood? I'm picturing the intake sticking out painted gloss black with some sort of Alien looking graphics..... ;D

lmao...no stock floor on this one. There's no reason to when you only need to go 2 1/4" too the rockers..lol. Stock flooring that would just add time and frustration to a project that's already taken about 13 months too long...
The engine will probably only stick through an inch or so..if that. There was quit a bit of clearance before the bd...we'll see though..

Originally I didn't want to BD it because the sub box/sub wouldn't fit in a blowthrough if it was BD'ed. But fuck it, I'll rock some 8's or something now, lol. I can't stockfloor it. Room for exhaust is already going to be tight, and it has to go under the cab. The only part of the LT that will stick through a bit is the very front. Maybe a bit of the TB, and then the intake elbow. I want to try to fab up some type of ramair intake if there's room for it, but the motor's pretty close to the core support now.

You're getting pretty optimistic. The body drop may be done, but there's still alot to do to get it running.
