Ok here is what is going on. I have a slight vibration when im taking off in first gear. At first I thought it was due to the exhaust cut short making a louder sound causing it to vibrate but found out it isnt. I know its not a pinion angle problem. I found some spacers that go near the carrier bearing and tranny mount which are supposed to help on this situation. I was wondering if this would help out at all and is it really worth getting later on in the future? It doesnt seem bad at all but its there.

It could very well be the carrier. Spacers are about the only thing you can do to correct it when you're running that severe of a drop. Especially since the pinion should be dead nuts on....lol..

Would spacers doug throw the pinion angle off? It only looks like the spacers come in a 2,3, or 4 degree change. I dont understand why spacers would do anything for me though. Can you explain how it will help?

it actually does help out with the pinion angle. with a split driveshaft, it helps bring the front and rear driveshaft angles closer to alignment....

Well with the spacers it should lift it up a little. I dont really see how this would help any. I wonder if there is a diffrence in size between the 2 spacers...well here is the link. If you could explain more doug on how this helps it would be cool. All i can see is that mabey my truck is driving and I have a small mount of change which causes the vibration. Please dont flame on my theory but if I accelerate would the tourqe from the driveshaft make it move around in the carrier part causing this vibration??

yeha, I've seen the kit. It pretty much explains why the kit is useful. I did realize though, that moving the carrier bearing up an inch might be too much on a bagged truck. your driveshaft is pretty close to the cab as is, I dunno if it would clear if it was an inch closer. Does it vibrate at any other speed or just on take off? The pinion maybe a hair out. We can check it when you come down next...

Well it vibrates on take off. Also between the 40-50 MPH it vibrates as well. What I can do doug is let you take my truck out and roll with it and you can tell me what you think. Its really only bad at first gear and 40-50. I know one thing me and alex saw last time I was over there....the wishbone bars where it mount to the Differential ...well the bolts on there were getting loose. I dont know if when those bolts get loose if the bars move at all and change my angle at all.

mm...well, tighten those bolts back up for sure if you havent already...that shouldnt change the pinion at all though....we'll give it a look when you roll down. It sounds like it's out a hair though....mm..odd..

yeah it is odd. Me and alex were just messing around and the bolts were so loose I could turn them By hand. I did take my truck and put in on the lift just to make sure nothing else was loose and I found nothing.

HAHA!! mm...well, tighten those bolts back up for sure if you havent already...that shouldnt change the pinion at all though....we'll give it a look when you roll down. It sounds like it's out a hair though....mm..odd..

Quick question...would the new x member I installed mabey threw the angle out a little to cause this vibration mabey?
