Ok guys, progress has been slow on my 2001 S10 Bodydrop project. Right now I am waiting on brake lines to get her out of the garage (backordered from Earl's ). I'll take some pictures soon and get them posted. I just got a new daily also. I'll get pictures of that as well. The new daily is a 1993 2dr 2wd Blazer with the 4.3CPI. The new daily has some things I need to fix, but she runs like a racehorse. 90,000 miles on the odometer. Zero rust on the body, typical rust on underside of doors. We're still alive and kicking here in St Louis chapter. I am dissapointed in the low number of members in this chapter, but we're looking at changing that in 2008. Doug, I'll be giving you a chat soon to discuss some chapter things... look forward to hearing from everyone. Hope everyone's winter projects go well. And happy Turkey Day!!!

Yeah, as to getting the body dropped truck on the road, we've had some interesting things happening... lots family things going on, not to mention a couple of unplanned funerals here and there, plus work, and kids activities... but she will be seeing the 08 show circuit. I've been getting out there at least twice a week and working on it. Hope to have my brake parts that are backordered in the next week, and I intend to take it out on the road a few times before Christmas (gotta love the midwest weather) As soon as I can pull her out of the garage, I'll start the bed. (There is no way we could push it out of the garage either, I have a 15-20 degree inclined driveway )

I've got some rust free doors....LOL Good luck on the daily..... so how long you think you can make it before you start modding it out? you can always bring them up... LOL. I'd feed ya and give ya a place to crash... LOL. That's a pretty good drive to deliver some doors though. LOL. The only rust on the truck is on the bottom lip of the doors. Typical first gen bullshit right there. I've got a couple of people out looking for doors, so if I find them, I'll replace them over the summer or spring??? As for how long it'll take for me to start modding it, I already have a few things in mind. I have to fix the minor issues first, but after that, it's whatever and whenever I can... I already started stashing away some bag parts though... we'll see if the wife let's me bag this one too ;D

We are actually planning a trip up to STL in July this next year.... I'd definitely take them off your hands in the summer, that is, if you want to lug them all the way up here. Either way, you'll have to let me know when you are going to be in the area. We can definitely get together!!!
