It's been a while since I have posted anything worthy... so here we go The wife and I made the decision not to go to Sparks in the Ozarks this weekend, so I have been pretty laid back and relaxed. However, the truck is near road worthy, and I will be driving it this weekend! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D As soon as she is out of the garage, I will cut the bed floor out and build the new frame and mounts for it and start the smooth walls and floor. I am looking to paint the body in the spring. layed the flock out baby... I ended up having to take the lower valance off cause it'd push the bumper up when layed out. This winter I plan on extending the front bumper to the ground, so I am not worried about that one bit. Here are some teaser pictures... enjoy I ended up cutting the oil dipstick tube in half, then cutting an angle, then rewelded it back together. All of this for a stock hood... here is where I cut and angled then welded it back up I'll post more pictures after the weekend

That looks badass, Slash. The black, red, and pewter is an awesome combo also. I bet it will feel good to drive it again.
We started BD'ing mine a couple weeks ago. The cab's pretty much welded up. Just have to tub the firewall and put the front back together. But that kind of fits hand in hand with the motor swap anyway since it was all cut up for that already. Hopefully I'll drive mine in this lifetime. ;D

Peter... I hear you on the this lifetime deal... It seems forever ago since I drove this truck. It has been almost a year since I started tearing it down. The little things will get you though, they seem small and trivial, but are way too time consuming.
Sorry she was so dirty, there seems to be a layer of dust/dirt over everything in the shop.
