Anyone know how to get ahold of the current owners name and address from a vin #? I would love to track down my first S-10 I owned and sold 15 years ago. Its a 1982 so starting next month it wouldnt need any emissions in washington state. Great V8 project for me  |

You might think about just getting you hands on another one..... Unless you have some sort of sentemental attachment....
But if you really want that one.... I know here in FL they will do a search for about $20.00.

Yah its more of sentimental value. where do you get it searched for $20? I called our DMV and they said they wont do it.

The DMV Here in Fl used to do title searches for $20.00. You had to supply them with the Vin in order for them to do it. It took about 3 weeks to get the info back.

Hey paul, I still see it driving around town every now and then....doesnt look too much different, just 10 years older..lol...
If I bump into it again, I'll see if I can catch the owner..
It was dark blue and dropped a bit, right?

It was dark blue and dropped a bit, right? Mine was mostly grey with dark blue between the top and bottom body lines. I had someone on s10 forum run a carfax and this is what it showed: 09/15/1992 Washington Motor Vehicle Dept. Olalla, WA Title #952101090796026 Title or registration issued Exempt from odometer reporting So I sold it in 1995 so there has been only 2 records since then, both in olalla. I guess since you guys dont need emmisions up there that someone could still own it since 1996 but Its probably been crushed and made into a park bench by now.  |
