It's a D44 from a '79 J10. I will be putting a matching rear D44. These axles are narrower than FS ford or chevy, so I don't have to narrow anything to fit. I'm not sure just how much lift I am going to put on it. I'm thinking enough for 35's .....

The fronts are just stock 48" FSJ springs. I will be adding a 2" long and short add-a-leafs to each pack. That will make them 4 springs packs and give me about 2.5" of lift out of the stock spring pack. The rears are just the stock blazer springs, I will be adding a 2" add-a-leaf to them.

If any of you were only there....ryan was acting like a little girl cause it was hot and the rusted bolts wouldnt come off so big daddy V had to come thru with the dis assembly skills! You suck ryan!  |

Actually he is talking about when We got the axle from the recycler..... He did not help with the teardown of the Jimmy...... He could not help because of something about going grocery shopping and it was going to take all day?
