Do the leafs run under or over the axle from the factory?

They run under the axle.... I know where you are going..... I don't really want to put blocks under the axle. Especially since I have a heavy foot. Las thing I want to do is crush one of those aluminum blocks under torque.

What about getting new rear hangers and shackles ryan? Would that be better than putting blocks in there? I would think it would help some.

Man, I wish it was as simple as an axle flip. Grinding out those rivets to put on hangers sucks.
The rear kit I want to get has new front and rear hangers, plus shackles. Oh, yeh I cut the e-brake cable bracket off and rewelded it about 2" higher. I really want to redo it this weekend, It was just a quick fix.
