he said he wants fbss i heard the 3 link cant hit sides good is that true? Thats BS. A 3 link can hit a decent side too. My RG hits a good side. Al though I haven't seen sides with another kit but I can't imagine how a 5 link verses a 3 link can hit any different of "side" other than you might get more lift with a 5 link over a 3 link. Just depends on the setup. My RG at full lift will hit max-side when dumping all left or dumping all right. IMO, my RG gets decent lift. Some kits get you even more lift but, why would you want to go from Full Frame Layout to 4x4 hieght? Thats what I don't understand in some folks. Sure getting lift is nice, but the object of the game is to ride low anyway. My front shock are my limitation at this point. I could probably get another 2 inches of lift up front but I had to cut the shock tab and relocate it to the bottom of the tubular arms. Consequently that reduced my shock stroke by 2 inches. I need to fins a little bit longer shock. These pics are with 20" Road Grater rear and 18" wheels and Coolride front. As you can see, even with the 2" reduced lift up front I'm still clearing the hell out of the 18" wheels. Another 2" and I'll be a damn 4x4, lol. Front Rear Frame Overall

The leverage, usually, is to get a better ride from the bag, the extra lift is just a side effect. I built mine to ride as smooth as possible, but it's still fun to see how much lift I can squeeze out of it set up as it is, it's always an eye catcher to people who don't know what they're looking at. ;D

yeah, the lift thing is mostly for looks...I know I love the fact that my blazer goes from laying rocker to almost stock height..lmao.
And a wishbone stlye 3-link will hit sides just fine...you get right about 30 degrees of articulation out of a urethane bushing before it binds (which is where you'll run into issues with a 3-link)...more than enough too let everybody know you've got f/b/s/s
