that sucks you got to work later, oh well, i will see what i can do, hopefully it wont be to hard finting a bolt to fit, do you know what size bolt would fit through the shock? like 1/2" 3/8" 5/16". and peter, i have saturdays off.

Bret, it's a 1/2" bolt. If you cant get anything figgured out, I'd just throw the stockers back on the back for now if the rubbing is bad, and I'll get some time to take care of it asap. It shouldnt take too long to remount the shocks someplace else...

What brand/style tires did you end up getting?

khumo's, some new tire, they were the cheapest, and of course, as you know peter, these khumos loose traction easily, im not worried though bout crazy good grip though of course, i wont be till i can drop in a V8.

Kuhmos cheap and loose traction?? What kind did ya get bro? I got kuhmos and I have to say they rock! I got the kuhmo ecsta's. They were cheap but the quality of them was good.

well, i had the khumo ecsta 712's on my bmw M3, hated them, smoked real good, but not the best tire, i had them when i bought my 20's, they serve my purpose, but if i were to get tires with awesome traction, i would get some nitto 555, which are actually chaper than the khumo's, or if i had the money and i was into going fast around corners, i would spend more money and get some michellins (sp) or perelli (sp) tires, but the khumos work for what i need, the ones i got are the new type, i believe like spt or something like that.

Haha...not Kuhmo's again. Eh well, good thing we're not driving sports cars. I had the 712's also, on my Civic. They had great dry traction but the only thing I've driven on that's been worse in the rain is the bald tires on the front of my S-10. LoL

well doug, the bolt didn't work, doesn't give any more clearance really, so i guess we will just need to move the shocks. and of course, i have no clue when i will be free, probably wont be for a couple weeks, or on spring break.
